    Summary: NEXUS AI processes your data locally on your PC. Only your query text is sent to AI providers (Groq/OpenAI) to generate responses. Your files, emails, and system data never leave your device.
  

1. Data We Collect

Account information: Email address and subscription status via Supabase authentication.
AI queries: Text messages you type or speak to the assistant, sent to Groq or OpenAI APIs to generate responses.
Usage analytics: Anonymous feature usage data (if enabled) via privacy-preserving analytics.
Local data only: PC system metrics, files, calendar, email content, and screen captures are processed locally and never uploaded.

2. How We Use Your Data

To authenticate your account and validate your subscription.
To route AI queries to third-party language model providers (Groq, OpenAI, Perplexity) on your behalf.
To improve the Service through aggregated, anonymized usage patterns.

3. Third-Party Services

NEXUS AI integrates with the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:

Supabase — Authentication and subscription management
Groq / OpenAI / Perplexity — AI language model inference (query text only)
Tavily — Web search (search query text only)
Paddle — Payment processing and subscription billing

4. Data Retention

Conversation history is stored locally on your device and never uploaded.
Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 30 days after cancellation.
You may request deletion of your account data at any time by emailing us.

5. Data Security

All network communication uses HTTPS/TLS encryption. Authentication tokens are stored securely and never logged. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising purposes.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at nexusai.kr@gmail.com.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware of such data, we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification or email at least 7 days before they take effect.
